Lutelandet Offshore

Lutelandet is located on the western coast of Norway, with easy access for oil rigs and ships to and from the North Sea. This huge onshore area up to 1.400.000 m² is developed by Lutelandet Offshore (LLOF) with yard, harbour and Europe's largest dry doc.

Wind energy turbines can be put together and shipped offshore without other transport than the short trip directly into the North Sea.

With a future wind power focused energy business coming up in the North Sea – with 10.000 installations planned within the next decade – the time seems right to set up related industry covering services needed by the wind power players.

Keeping in mind that there are no players as of today who provide extensive windmill support along the Norwegian coast, there is a position in the market that LLOF is going to grab during the coming years.
